PASSING GLIMPSES
I work with moments that form at the intersection of people, place, and timing – scenes where context becomes the quiet storyteller. In black-and-white, light and shadow define gesture; small expressions and micro-interactions turn into readable shifts of mood. The environment isn’t backdrop but partner, shaping meaning through edges, intervals, and the direction of light.
When action takes the lead – a turn of the head, a hand released, a stride cutting through a beam of light – the frame gains a quiet urgency. It isn’t event coverage; it’s the search for intention inside motion. Contrast, rhythm, and spatial relationships carry the emotion, elevating the ordinary without theatrics.
The result is situational, unscripted work: precise in craft, restrained in means, and open enough for the viewer to complete the story. Moments held at their strongest point – just before they slip away.
