These workshops are rooted in Hamburg – a city shaped by light, weather, and quiet transitions. Several times a year, selected workshops take place here, forming the foundation of my teaching.
Beyond Hamburg, I offer workshops in carefully chosen cities. Each location is selected for its particular rhythm, architecture, and visual tension – not as a tour, but as a temporary framework for focused photographic work.
Across all locations, the approach remains the same: learning to see through light, form, and reduction. We work in real streets and real conditions, slowing the process down to sharpen perception and intention.
Sessions range from photowalks to intensive 1:1 workshops built around individual goals. Expect clear feedback, precise exercises, and an emphasis on restraint over spectacle.

The focus is on seeing and decision-making rather than covering ground – working slowly, in real conditions, with clarity over spectacle.
