The Concept
MONO/POLY is structured into six conceptual chapters. The photographs are sequenced according to visual relationships rather than subject matter or location.
Many images are deliberately paired or juxtaposed. Together, they reveal connections, contrasts and repetitions that individual photographs alone cannot fully express.
Through this sequence, the photographs form a coherent visual narrative. The book itself becomes the medium through which the work takes its final form.

MONO/POLY evolved over several years as an attempt to translate perception into photographic form.
This fine art photobook brings together a curated selection of photographs shaped by reduction, light and spatial clarity.
Sequencing, typography and design follow a shared conceptual approach and together create a distinctive visual language.
Across six conceptual chapters, the work moves between urban observation, minimal geometry and architectural studies. Rather than documenting places or events, it explores relationships – between light and shadow, structure and space, and the subtle presence of people.
Each photograph stands on its own. Its full meaning, however, emerges in dialogue with the surrounding images. Together, they form a visual narrative about perception, structure and the quiet order of everyday life.
