PHOTOWALK
A different way of seeing the city.
Solo or in small groups.
This photowalk is about noticing what is already there.
We move through public space without a predefined subject, paying attention to movement, proximity, rhythm, and chance.
Rather than searching for images, we observe how situations unfold through light, structure, and human presence.
The focus is not on producing photographs.
It is about understanding how images emerge when attention is directed differently.
The Walk
We move slowly through the city together, following light, movement, and changing situations.
There is no fixed route and no predefined subject. Instead, we respond to what appears – a gesture, a reflection, an alignment of people and space.
Short pauses allow us to discuss framing, timing, and perception while remaining within the flow of the street.
The walk becomes an exercise in observation rather than image hunting.
Focus
Attention shifts from subjects to relationships between people, space, light, and time.
We work with:
• situations rather than subjects
• movement, proximity, and timing
• visual relationships between people and space
• layers, overlaps, and fleeting alignments
• seeing before photographing
For Whom
For photographers who want to slow down, observe more carefully, and develop a clearer visual language.
Suitable for beginners and experienced photographers alike. Curiosity matters more than equipment. Patience matters more than speed. You will leave with a different awareness of what unfolds around you.
